What is it about?

The paper deals with various kinds of converter topologies and their performances suitable for Switched Reluctance Generator operation. For each topology the equivalent circuit, mathematical model and simulation waveforms of phase variables are given. At the end of the paper the performances of individual converter topologies are compared and recommendations for their employment are given.
