What is it about?
Green economics looks at microeconomics and household economics. A green economics exploration of the Sysmä arae and its own money. This money was introduced to deal with less people living in the area a demographic decline. This study explores how that money was introduced with a municipal authority and various subsidies and involvement of third sector organisations in making it happen.

Why is it important?
It was a project in a rural area and done on a local not a regional scale. It is 4th generation project using digital technology.
Perspectives
Own money with bitcoin has a buzz around it. Yet for practical working examples being introduced in this decade there are only a few in the world. If a well educated leading country - Finland does this and has this experience is there something for others to learn? Could it work? Technically yes, socially it is much harder, but I do see this as one of a choice. I also touch in the concept of a constructed identity and diaspora creation that could work to make other projects successful.
