Strong local embed institutions are important for effective water resource project management and sustainability. This study provides the role of institutions in creating an enabling environment for water resource sustainability.

Why is it important?

our findings reveal that institutional related factors namely, project maintenance per annum and meetings conducted per annum, to be leading factors for sustainability. therefore, the coordination of various institutions is an important aspect for the sustainability of water projects.
