Forest plantations are an important means of improving the properties and increasing the fertility of chernozems.

Why is it important?
We have shown that oak planting has a more favorable effect on chernozem than acacia planting.
Perspectives
The results obtained testify to the positive effect of artificial forest plantations on the physical and chemical properties of chernozems. In the future, it is necessary to expand and deepen this kind of research. The results of the work performed will help to better understand the features of the change in chernozems under forest stands in specific conditions.
