New mathematical issues in models of biological phenomenon of chemotaxis
What is it about?
We consider the simplest parabolic-elliptic model of chemotaxis in the whole space and in several space dimensions. Criteria either for the existence of radial global-in-time solutions or their blowup in terms of suitable functional spaces norms are discussed.
Why is it important?
This offers a new view on the Keller-Segel model of chemotaxis: solvability and asymptotics of solutions.
