What is it about?

This paper analyzes by CFA a scale to measure the extent to which an organization is traditional. The most characteristic traits of any traditional culture are: overestimating the economic goals; highly competitive and markedly individualistic; promotion based on personal friendships and family ties; creativeness and innovation capacity of employees unvalued; importance of customs and traditions; performance appraisal system and controls based on failure and not on success; avoidance at all costs of conflict; centralized, rigid, and bureaucratic structure.
