What is it about?

From a psychoanalytic perspective time perception has been related to differences in personality. The personality classification is now obsolete but basically refers to differences in flexibility and/or rigidity (need for control) of personality expression.

This work may not now be timely but it did show how the estimation of intervals of time is related to differences in personality types.

Perspectives

By highlighting how the experience of "time" depends on differences in personality it can help to understand interpersonal conflicts among different cultural groups and some problems in interpersonal transactions.
