What is it about?
This article presents the results of a study of a new type of heat exchanger based on the Rank-Hilsh vortex tube, which makes it possible to reduce the energy costs for fuel gas heating. When developing the mathematical model, the maximum number of influencing factors, such as the temperature of the heated gas, the temperature of the compressed gas, the temperature of the atmospheric air, the finning area, etc. The results of calculations showed that the proposed design fully justifies itself and can find wide application in a unified gas supply system.
