What is it about?
Following the demonstrated improvement in pregnancy glycemia with the Tandem™ T:slim with Control IQ™ in the CIRCUIT trial, we wanted to assess intrapartum continuation among women with type 1 diabetes randomized to closed-loop during pregnancy and compare intrapartum and early postpartum glycemic effectiveness and safety with standard-care. Use of this closed-loop system resulted in superior intrapartum and early postpartum glycemia with no safety concerns.
