What is it about?

Deleterious health effects of artificial sweeteners on type 2 diabetes (T2D) have been suggested but the certainty of evidence remains low according to the World Health Organization. Results from this population-based study are in line with associations suspected between the consumption of artificially sweetened beverages and/or table-top sweeteners and the risk of T2D.
