What is it about?

Gestational diabetes has been linked with type 2 diabetes risk but this association has not been well described among racial/ethnic minorities. We examined differences in the association between gestational diabetes and postpartum diabetes risk and glucose control (once diagnosed) by race/ethnicity using a large, diverse sample of women giving birth in New York City.
