What is it about?

Continuity of care has been suggested to reduce CVD risk in patients with diabetes mellitus, but maintaining a one-to-one patient-physician relationship is often challenging in public healthcare settings where the workforce is more constrained. Our study shows that continuity of care on a team basis could provide a more flexible alternative while is associated with reduced CVD risk in DM patients.
