Effects of Lifestyle Intervention of Maternal Gestational Diabetes Mellitus on Offspring Growth Pattern Before Two Years of Age

What is it about?

Gestational diabetes mellitus increases risk of early and late childhood obesity. We examined the effect of intensive care of gestational diabetes mellitus during pregnancy on overweight in offspring but found that such intervention does not modify growth pattern of the offspring before two years of age.
