What is it about?

In our study of 1,544 COVID-19 patients with diabetes from 91 hospitals in 12 states, admission glucose was a strong predictor of death among patients directly admitted to the ICU. Severe hyperglycemia after admission was also a strong predictor of death among non-ICU patients.
