The Pathological Evolution of Glucose Response Curves During the Progression to Type 1 Diabetes in the TrialNet Pathway to Prevention Study

What is it about?

We show that the glucose response curve shape during an oral glucose tolerance test changes to a more pathologic form over time in progressors to type 1 diabetes compared to non-progressors. In addition, a substantial number of non-progressors appear to have a reversal in those pathologic changes during follow-up.
