What is it about?
Our work utilizes ULM to probe cerebrovascular changes in a diabetic rodent model. The experimental results demonstrate that diabetic rats show reduced vascular density and slowed blood flow in the striatum, basal forebrain region, thalamus, hypothalamus, and hippocampus, which are key brain regions.
