What is it about?

AB as a GPR40 agonist ameliorated DPN-like pathology in both T1DM and T2DM mice. AB suppressed inflammation by regulating GPR40/β-arrestin2/NLRP3 pathway in sciatic nerves, improved mitochondrial dysfunction through GPR40/LKB1/AMPK/SIRT1/PGC-1α pathway in sciatic nerves and DRG tissues.
