What is it about?

Adults make up half of the new type 1 diabetes cases, but research mainly focuses on children. We found adults were more likely to have single autoantibody positivity and had lower progression risks in early stages, though risks were similar in Stage 2. These findings suggest monitoring and care should be tailored for adults and children.
