Why is it important?

As lack of time remains a significant barrier to physical activity adoption and adherence, this study showed that a novel high intensity exercise intervention, well below current guidelines, was well tolerated and led to significant improvements in the health of adults with type 2 diabetes.

Perspectives

This study was the centrepiece of my PhD work. I had a great time conducting the exercise sessions and getting to know all of the participants.
