What is it about?

The boundary layer transition is examined in a classical way, i.e., with the mass flow conservation, not use of disturbance. The model can express the effects of Mach number, wall temparture, bluntness and unit-Reynolds number. The calculated results are compared with past experimental results. Reasonably agreed.

Why is it important?

The transition of the boundry layer can be predict theoretically.

Perspectives
