What is it about?

The Flood in Seneca is made not only by water, but also with the contribute of all four elements, including earth itself, which turns into water. This can be read in an intertextual perspective with relation to Ovid's Metamorphoses, which are critised for their superficial representation of the flood in book 1, but also taken as a model for the theory of mutual transformation of elements (book 15).
