What is it about?
Making cities livable is the most challenging issue faced today as more and more people migrate to cities for better prospects. This paper examines and breaks down the multiple challenges faced by decision makers and citizens for a better quality of life. We have developed a platform that converges these multiple issues under and challenges to develop an action plan for livability that can be customized to each city.

Why is it important?
We developed a solutions oriented platform with enough flexibility for policy makers to engage citizens and customize time based action plans for improving livability in their cities. It is important to consider environment degradation, economic feasibility and benefits for people through all actions planned for a city.
Perspectives
This paper is meant to break myths and perceptions that green cover or landscaping alone will make cities livable. We revitalized green to grEEEn - which is a balance of environment, economics and equity and propose a methodology for the development of time based action plans which prioritize investments in consensus with people.
