What is it about?
We made a systemic literature review over the concept of value chain in Agribusiness, and tried to obtain some insights on how different authors and Institutions have approached this concept.

Why is it important?
The notion of value chain has changed over time and it's over constant discussion. In this sense, It turns out to be crucial to understand what are the methodologies and approaches used in a VC descriptive analysis.
Perspectives
Further analysis should be oriented to deepen on tools to explore VC competitiveness.
