Why is it important?
Decellularized extracellular matrix is the biomaterial, naturally derived from animal tissues/cells, which has almost all the components of tissue matrix required to mimic the native scaffold for the cells that will get comfortable environment to proliferate, and grow. So, researchers can do downstream experiments to study on various topics related to cancer, tissue regeneration, tissue engineering and bioengineering.
Perspectives
This article provides the important information about the decellularized extracellular matrix concisely for regeneration of tissue.
