Evaluation of lauroyl-gemcitabine-loaded hydrogel efficacy in glioblastoma rat models

What is it about?

A new surgical animal model was developped to be more relevant in the field of glioblastoma treatment. A novel hydrogel formulation of nanocapsules containing Gemcitabine showed very promising results on this model for the local treatment of operable tumors.
