What is it about?
The silver and gold nanoparticles were mycosynthesized using cell free filtrate of endophytic Chaetomium globosum at variable temperature and pH to assess their effects on quantity and quality of nanoparticles. Synthesized nanoparticles were found significantly active against human pathogenic bacteria. Two biomolecules present in cell free filtrate were characterized as benzoate 4-monooxygenase cytochrome P450 and ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase. Based on above mentioned molecules we explained the mechanism of reduction of metal ions to metal nanoparticles and bactericidal activity of metal nanoparticles.
