What is it about?

Cationic Ag2S Quantum dots with strong emission in the near-infrared region are relatively new in the field of nano-biomedicine. We show that PEI/cysteine coating of such particles make them relatively cytocompatible and they can deliver Dox selectively to cancer cells via receptor mediated endocytosis and allow particle tracking via its strong intracellular luminescence.
