What is it about?
Human pancreatic stellate cells (hPSCs) play a key role in the progression of pancreatic cancer. MicroRNAs can control the tumor progressive properties of hPSCs. The big drawback in the use of microRNAs is that they are unabe to enter cells by themselves. In this study we present a delivery system which efficiently and specifically delivers an active microRNA into hPSCs and inhibits their tumor promoting potential.
