What is it about?
Selective delivery of substances for diagnosis and therapy of various diseases is important. Nanoparticles are extremely small (<100 nm) and ideal for this purpose. Nanoparticles can be synthesised with various unique properties and their selectivity can be increased by linking various agents with an affinity to the targeted tissues. In this review we discuss the importance of recombinant antibodies for nanoparticle targeting.
