What is it about?

Evaluation and management of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) are currently lacking of early and specific imaging systems. We develop a smart nanoparticle endowed with paramagnetic properties and coupled with a targeting biomolecule for the selective detection of active bowel inflammation foci in a murine model of acute colitis.
