What is it about?

Cardiovascular diseases that are initiated by tissue ischemia remain the principal cause of death in the world. The recognition of microvascular dysfunction is an early and rate-determining factor in the pathological process. For such neo-vascularization imaging we demonstrated that compromise between T2 relaxivity and physico-chemical properties is essential for the design of effective MRI contrast agent.
