What is it about?

This paper addresses a question we are asked at time of consultation or treatment: how long am I going to live? This paper provides a validated nomogram with simple easily obtained parameters to predict survival in this growing group of patients

Why is it important?

Liver radiation patients are do heterogenous in terms of type of tumours, aggressivity of individual tumours, extent of previous treatments, location of lesions etc.. Therefore large databases of patients are required to accurately provide a means to predict survival. This is one of the larger published databases.
