What is it about?
Research on disease distribution patterns is essential to prevent and control the transmission of Covid-19. Spatial-based research is one of the research models that can be developed to describe the spread of the disease.

Why is it important?
Our findings show that the pattern of distribution of Covid-19 formed is a cluster pattern with the addition of significant cases in several regions during the study period. The increasing number of cases occurred in several areas that are close to the district's main route. Thus, the results of spatial research can be used as one of the considerations in making disease control program policies.
Perspectives
I hope this article will make people more interested in reading the research results because they are displayed in the form of pictures/maps. Spatial-based research results are able to display various maps and attributes that adequately describe the condition of an area. I hope this research can encourage other researchers to develop spatial analysis in dealing with health problems in the community.
