What is it about?

The first weeks and months after starting dialysis are frightening and overwhelming for patients. How can dialysis programs ease their patients anxiety and fears and give them the tools necessary to navigate this critical time? Transitional Care Units can provide a platform for support but require institutional commitment and resources.
