What is it about?
Cardiopulmonary exercise testing or CPET is a diagnostic test used to help distinguish between different causes of shortness of breath. In this editorial, we discuss how CPET is preformed/interpreted, a recent study looking at the association between CPET markers and kidney function and review some potential applications in patients with chronic kidney disease.
