What is it about?

Hemoadsorption removes toxins by direct contact with blood. It has evolved since the first studies in humans. It it now much safer and and can remove multiple toxins that are not effectively removed by dialytic techniques.. This review provides an update on current knowledge on hemoadsorption and describes its current use and research agenda for the future
