What is it about?

Patients who do their own hemodialysis at home must undergo training to learn how to use the dialysis equipment. This training is very specialized and this review outlines some of the important nuances of training. Once trained and patients do their own hemodialysis, they must be supported by their dialysis programs to maintain their safety at home.
