What is it about?
The Greek words "meta" (meaning "beyond") and "verse" (meaning "universe") are combined to form the phrase "metaverse." Neal Stephenson first used the word "metaverse" in his science fiction book "Snow Crash" in 1992. He described it as a "universe beyond" reality that may take the place of all human endeavors. In this digital age, technological advancement is constantly necessary to enhance consumers' real-time experiences and digital awareness. A "post-reality" cosmos and multi-user setting that blends digital virtuality with physical realities is called the Metaverse.
