What is it about?

During the routine working of the dental clinic, various waste is generated which needs to be disposed very carefully. Various categories of waste material are sharps, anatomical waste, and soiled waste and waste plastic applications. Each category of waste has color-coded bags specific to it. Metallic sharps are disposed in white containers that are puncture proof and tamper proof. Metallic sharps are destroyed after autoclaving. Glassware is collected in blue cardboard boxes and autoclaved before recycling. Recyclable waste is disposed in red coloured containers and autoclaved before handling to registered recyclers.
