What is it about?

The importance of hand washing cannot be overlooked. Hand washing must be carried out to prevent the transfer of germs to the patients. It must be carried out very methodically and meticulously. Electronic sensors may be fitted in taps to avoid touching the taps with washed hands. Skin abrasions and micro cuts on the hands must be covered with protective dressing. Fingernails should be well trimmed and kept nicely. After wetting the hands they must be scrubbed with soaps for at least 30 seconds. The total process should be at least 40-60 seconds. An alternative to hand washing is alcohol based rub.
