Why is it important?

The goal of this chapter is to reduce the chances of a bad outcomes by educating anesthesia practitioners about diseases and syndromes that are uncommon. If we can reduce the morbidity and mortality of vulnerable children it will be a success.

Perspectives

We fully recognize that most practitioners will never see these syndromes. But what if they do? We hope to help provide information about how to handle the anesthetics in these special cases.
