What is it about?

This review articles describes about wide range of material research carried out using graphene with metal oxides and conductive polymers. Different polymerization techniques, carbon based hybrids and several effective structures were described based on past research.

Why is it important?

Graphene is single layer sheet of carbon which can be used as a substrate that can allow growth of different materials over it for example conductive polymers and metal oxides to create various combination of hybrids for stable and high performance energy storage.

Perspectives

I hope this articles help ongoing researchers to have easy understanding about past research on graphene. This would help everyone to understand basic concepts of supercapacitor as an energy storage device.
