What is it about?

The role of CeO2-doping (0.75-3 mol%) and calcination temperatures on solid-solid interaction between ferric and cadmium oxides yielding cadmium ferrites were examined.

Why is it important?

There is an attractive method for ethylene production due to its economic importance. The manufacture of bioethanol is expressively increasing.

Perspectives

Our work is concerned with ethanol conversion to be economically acceptable (low reaction temperature and low cost) using nano-cadmium ferrite doped with CeO2 (0.75- 3 mol.%) heating at 500- 700°C.
