What is it about?

Nanoparticle and nanomaterial synthesis through green routes is highly desirable. Nanoparticle characterization is of immense importance in the study of nanoparticles as functionalities and properties of nanoparticle are dependent on various characteristics such as shape, size, surface composition, aggregation state etc. This mini-review discusses the different characterization techniques used in the study of nanoparticles with a special emphasis on UV-Visible spectroscopy.
