What is it about?

According to recent studies, one in five Americans may acquire skin cancer at some point in their lives, placing a significant financial burden on society. Despite the fact that there are many different chemotherapeutic medicines on the market for its treatment, they all have substantial adverse effects. This article emphasises the significance of secondary plant metabolites that are found to be highly effective in either in-vivo or in-vitro or other studies with their potential mechanisms of action. Plants are always important in the identification and development of new lead compounds for treating various diseases. Following clinical trials, there may be opportunities to develop some of these as lead compounds for the treatment of skin cancer in the future.

For the purpose of lead identification, plant secondary metabolites have always been of interest to the researchers. This article will give a thorough overview of several plant secondary metabolites that have been proven useful in a number of research. Researchers have the chance to carry out these research further, advance to the next stage, and produce some possible lead molecules

Perspectives

With co-authors I've worked with for years, it was a real pleasure for me to write this review article. This analysis of plant secondary metabolites that have been scientifically shown to be useful against skin cancer is, hopefully, helpful. Because skin cancer has placed a financial strain on the health care system, this issue affects every single person on the earth in some manner and is not only a concern for the government or researchers. Above all, I hope that this paper will get you thinking about potential new study topics.
