What is it about?
Thiocarbamate derivatives are widely studied as potential antimicrobial compounds and some of them are already clinically used antifungal agents. We report the evaluation of the in vitro antimicrobial activity of some fluoroalkyl thio(dithio)carbamates as well as their non fluo fungal strains.

Why is it important?
Our results show that highly fluorinated thiocarbamates are a good antimicrobial agents that could over-come such antimicrobial resistance.
