The success of any organization is dependent on its workers and healthcare field is no exception. In order to achieve this success and ensure sustainability the satisfaction of workers has to be given its due importance.

Why is it important?

Unfortunately the public healthcare sector in Pakistan has not paid much attention to this aspect. This work is aimed at assessing the satisfaction status of health service providers who are offering their services in the public tertiary care hospital of Pakistan to highlight their problems and draw attention of policy makers so that the problem can be addressed.

Perspectives

I believe that articles like these will bring improvement in the working conditions of health care providers and will help reduce the brain drain of trained and professional staff who leave their countries in search of better job opportunities if they get attention of administrative staff and the policy makers.
