What is it about?

鳥居建吾 May 4, 2022, 0:18 UTC If the mouth does not open due to pain, wearing the anterior bite plate, the bite position is guided to the correct muscular bite position and the symptoms disappear. However, if the plate is not worn, the symptoms will appear again. As essential treatment, the patient’s bite should be coincident with the correct muscular bite position by grinding the teeth little by little. The method is described in the book titled as “Evidence based occlusal management for Temporomandibular disorders” published by Bentham science publisher. TMD related symptoms include Oral dyskinesia, Tension-type headache, Tinnitus, Vertigo, Low-frequency hearing loss, Burning mouth syndrome, Glossodynia, Cixalgia, and Dull heavy feeling in the head.
