What is it about?

The management of thyroid carcinoma during pregnancy is tightly related to the type of neoplasm, thus the the diagnostic work-up is important for choose the correct timing of intervention. We highlighted our experience in the management of the disease in this clinical setting.

Why is it important?

We detailed described the diagnostic work-up considering clinical (both serological and instrumental), cytology and pathological-anatomical aspects, additionally providing a comprehensive literature revision.
