What is it about?

Why is it important?
Taking unnecessary medicines that may be harmful are both bad for your health and your pocketbook. The overutilization of PPIs is often a result of failure to re-evaluate the need for continuation of therapy. . Healthcare providers with patients can reverse the relentless expansion of long-term PPI exposure by discussing the expected benefits and potential harms.
Perspectives
Ask your doctor if de-prescribing your PPI is right for you? It probably is.
